Organizational Culture and Masculinities in a Startup Company in Finland

چکیده

This article explores the organizational culture of startup scene in Finland. Startup companies offer an interesting setting for research, because their culture, hierarchy and power structures differ from those large traditional organizations. The method used this study was ethnography a company Finland, which included participant observation, interviews with employees. informal, relaxed, low hierarchy, employees had autonomy deciding on working times locations. Masculinities were visible form ‘harsh’ language rambunctious humor, men changing behavior discussion topics when women around, managers communicating more aggressively than women. results further showed that gender criterion inclusion exclusion. research concludes are not gender-neutral spaces.
